Bio

I was born in Pittsburgh, PA in 1944 and attended and graduated from Scituate High School in Scituate, MA and Adrian College in Adrian, MI. After teaching for a year in Ohio, I returned to New England and taught Social Studies and Math in the Milford, NH School System until 1977. In 1970, I started my own business called Wilderness Outfitters which became the largest canoe and kayak store in New England. In 1995, I sold my business and moved to the Lakes Region to work in the marine trade, until I became a REALTOR® with Lamprey and Lamprey in 2002.

I have three children, two girls and a boy, and I have been married to Lorna for 31 years. Our children have all graduated with Masters Degrees and are scattered around the country. Lorna and I (and our Corgi pup, Molly) are enjoying the empty nest and love living on Lake Winnipesaukee. We both enjoy boating and have recently purchased an RV to tour New England, when time permits.

I enjoy selling- whether it’s a canoe, boat or real estate. But I really like what being a REALTOR® offers me. I like the flexibility, and I like not being confined to a 9-5 desk job. I enjoy talking to people and the satisfaction of helping them make their best real estate decisions. I live in Balmoral, a development in Moultonborough, and because of my knowledge and appreciation of our area, I have been successful in marketing these water access properties. In the past year Lamprey and Lamprey was involved with over half of the properties in Balmoral, and I am pleased that my efforts have been significantly responsible toward that outcome.
